Background

In February, 2017, the City of Jacksonville Planning Commission voted to indefinitely postpone hearings on revisions to the Jacksonville Land Development Code (JLDC). Following the suspension, the City Council directed staff to work to establish a robust community input program to ensure extensive feedback on the code revision process.

The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC)

The CAC was established by the City Council in order to conduct and extensive review of the draft code. They are an advisory body that will ultimately provide a recommendation to the Planning Commission. The CAC will work in conjunction with City Staff, City Officials, and the CCI throughout the process.
